VOID is a visual novel by Vifth Floor that dives deep into themes of revenge, intrigue, and moral choices, all wrapped in a dark, anime style world. It’s a short experience, lasting around 5–6 hours, but packed with dilemma and unexpected twists. Curious? Let’s talk about it.

Arthur’s Struggle

In this game, you are playing as Arthur Woods, a man whose life has completely fallen apart after losing someone he loves. Seeking justice, he dives deep into the underworld of assassins and conspiracies that threaten his life. The story pretty much revolves between vengeance, moral grayness, and irreversible decisions.

With its striking anime art style and espionage inspired tone, VOID immerses players in its cold, brutal, yet stylish world. From start to finish, it really feels like watching a futuristic spy film, but with you in the leading role.

Story of the game opens on a rather dark note. Arthur, the protagonist, has lost someone dear to him. But his grief unknowingly leads him to uncover a dark secret involving a criminal syndicate and the hidden underworld powers controlling the city of Kings Port.

The city isn’t just a backdrop for the story, it’s alive, breathing, and ready to swallow anyone who dares defy it. Along his journey through the city, Arthur meets many mysterious characters, each with their own stories. From Julie Ross, a cold hearted vigilante, to Ciel Blanchette, the unpredictable genius.

Whether you dive deeper into the darkness or cling to what’s left of your morality, it’s all up to you. But remember, every choice comes with a price, and here, there’s no such thing as purely right or wrong.

Since VOID is a visual novel, you shouldn’t expect a fast paced action or reflex based gameplay. Everything revolves around storytelling and decision making. Even the smallest of choices can shape your ending. Sometimes the good option can lead to something terrible, and vice versa.

There are multiple endings that you can unlock, and it’ll take around roughly 5-6 hours to experience them all. Too short? Well perhaps, but it depends, some may even think it’s too long. But for a visual novel, I actually feel like the duration is just right.

Dark Yet Full of Spark

One of VOID’s strongest points is definitely its visual presentation. The anime styled illustrations aren’t just pretty, they’re cinematic even. Every scene feels like a movie frame, with perfect camera angles and beautiful, moody color tones.

You’ll feel like you’re watching an ultra edgy futuristic spy-esque movie. Exaggerated, dramatic, but undeniably fun. That’s what makes it exciting! Everything feels over the top, but in a way that keeps things fresh and engaging, perfect if you’re tired of the overly realistic stories.

Even though most of the visuals are static 2D images, the art style does a great job of building VOID’s dark and emotional atmosphere. Each frame looks like a digital comic panel where you control how the story unfolds.

Defo Worth Experiencing

VOID may not be this long, epic, or action packed game. But beneath its simplicity lies a story filled with depth and unforgettable experience. Its 5 to 6 hour runtime is more than enough to pull you deep into Arthur Woods’ tragic journey and the haunting world of Kings Port.

With its stunning anime visuals and thought-provoking moral choices, VOID successfully delivers a short yet powerful experience. If you’re someone who enjoys stories full of intrigue, revenge, and dilemmatic choice, this game deserves a spot on your wishlist!

So stop hesitating! Download VOID now and see for yourself!
