You only bring three characters into each battle tho. But you’re free to swap your party anytime you like. You can build whatever combination of character that fits your style.
The game also uses a single shared level for the entire party. So everyone grows together. No underleveled characters left behind.
Add the dynamic camera during combat, and the whole thing feels surprisingly lively for a classic JRPG setup.
